I could really use your support and your celebration. Please help me out and join in the fun!

I’m excited this week to announce, the first episode of my new podcast “Permission To Be Your Full Self” went live on Sunday. It’s been a tremendous journey to bring this vision to life. From all the tech issues to all the inner blocks I had the opportunity to overcome.

It definitely was not an easy process and while I have some nervousness around how you’ll receive it and how successful it will be, mostly, I’m really proud of myself.

Proud of following through on my commitment to create this despite everything that came up in the process. You hear about some of that in this episode. And I’m proud of my ability to recognize the gifts in difficult or uncomfortable experiences.

For example after months of working towards getting this out there, I finally recorded it earlier last week. And right before a meeting to help me figure out how to make it public, I learned my podcast host was no longer supporting the studio I used to create it.

Initially I was crestfallen, frustrated and demoralized. “How could they do this with no warning?”, I wondered. Especially after I had been communicating with them for months about the studio process. But fairly quickly I made a mental shift, “You know what? I’m choosing to know this actually works in my favor.” Even though I was not initially sure how.

As it turned out, I found a much better company to work with that has made the process much easier. If I had not been so upset, I might have just continued dealing with a company that was not serving my needs because I didn’t know any better. But this gave me the drive to figure that out.

That has been the case multiple times along the journey. I’ve gotten the opportunity to step up to a new level. An opportunity to not simply marinate in struggle but to grow because I’ve made the conscious choice to grow when things got hard.

In fact you’ll hear a mistake in the podcast. It’s obvious because I announce it. In fact a friend told me that was her favorite part. Give a listen and you’ll understand why.

What I don’t share in the episode is the initial “Oh shit!” moment that I went through at 1am as I was exhausted and not wanting to deal with a mistake. Yet, I very quickly decided it was actually the perfect thing to have happen in this episode. It feels good to see how quickly I'm shifting out of frustration and even victimhood to show up for myself.

So how can you both celebrate and support me?

Well if you are willing, I'd really appreciate a like and/or a subscribe and/or a comment. And share it with anyone who needs to hear or would be supported by this message.

Any or all of those would really mean a great deal to me. It helps the algorithm and really helps me get the message out and get noticed. I truly feel I’ve already succeeded just by getting it out there. At the same time knowing I’m supporting a positive impact on your lives would fill my heart with joy as well as give me the motivation and incentive to create more.

Thank you in advance. I really appreciate your support.
